In
2011, my two favorite bookstores put out a call for old and new
zinesters to make at least one more zine. With the help of my son,
I put together the first inning of Bookstores and Baseball,
a perzine about our travels during the summer of 2009 when we visited
some of our bookstores and attended some baseball games along the
way. We had so much fun, we turned a one-summer event into a yearly
pilgrimage to bookstores and stadiums large, small, and imaginary.
